Our boat launch provides premium access to the east end of Lake Houston. The launch area is completely bulk headed with 3 walk piers. The concrete boat ramp has an easy grade and extends near the center of the channel dependent upon water levels.

Lake Shadows Pool
From its approach from Bluff View Drive or from the east at Shore Side Dr, the Lake Shadows pool is a special place. Few community pools are located on the lakes edge giving it an appeal and a feeling of beach front fun. All home owners are encouraged to make use of our pool & park, however, keep your maintenance fee accounts paid up. Those in arrears will not be eligible for yearly pool passes, pool party rentals or day passes.

Lake shadows park
If you visit our waterfront pool it's hard not to take a walk through our park. Bordered by the pool and Lake Houston to the south, our park is the perfect place for neighbors to get together and share good times. The Park is available to all Lake Shadows Residents and can be rented for special occasions. We have a gazebo, pavilion, bathrooms, playground equipment and the waterfront pier.
ATTENTION: Boat Ramp stickers are valid on an annual basis. Jan-Dec. They are color coded per year so they need to be renewed on a yearly basis. If you purchase a boat ramp sticker close to the end of the year, you will have to purchase a new one in January for the following year.
**BOAT RAMP UPDATE** Due to the abundance of non-property owners using the boat ramp, we have updated our boat ramp application and rules. For those who have already signed the application for the stickers, please go to the amenities page and read the new application so that you are aware of the new information. Please spread the word on the rules that will be strictly enforced. The towing company will be driving thru the boat ramp daily and vehicle AND trailer will be towed. Below are the guidelines the company will be following regarding what will be towed:
-Out of date or NO sticker at all
-DO NOT PLACE STICKER ON FRONT WINDSHIELD OR BEHIND TOOL BOXES. Sticker must be placed in the top left corner of the back window AND visible! If sticker is not visible by a board member, the vehicle will be towed!
-DO NOT park on white rocked area. If your vehicle or trailer is blocking vehicles from being able to come and go, yours will get towed. (Please park in the grass area to the right of the ramp either nose or rear first.)
-ANY VEHICLE WITH A TRAILER (boat, jet ski, or any type of trailer) must have a valid sticker. **do not park a vehicle with a trailer, unload your ATV's or UTV's or golf carts, and leave the vehicle and trailer. It will be towed without a valid sticker. Yes this is happening.**
-If your sticker is on a vehicle that does not match the description you gave on the application, the vehicle and trailer will be towed and the owner of the sticker will receive a $50 violation.

All Homeowners of Lake Shadows may utiliize the Digital Billboard on Foley Road for personal messages however our restrictions do not allow users to advertise on behalf of any businesses, political agendas, or religious purposes. The Billboard is owned by the Civic League and its primary use is for the Civic League & Water Board for limited purposes.
